Pleasant Exhortation

As a soceity which was run smoothly with strong community solidarity and familial bonds through unwritten social contracts and support systems, Bhutan has a vibrant culture of exhortation by the elders to the subordinates and the older to the younger. Elders or seniors often coax and gently persaude younger and junior ones to either do or not do something. Young children with problems are often coaxed as part of corrective efforts.
