Chumey Dialect

Bumthangkha is primarily spoken in the four valleys of Bumthang districts and also in northern parts of the Tongsa district and western part of Mongar. Bumthangkha has numerous dialects, most of which are now on the brink of disappearance. The Chumey dialect of Bumthangkha is spoken in the Chamkharchu valley in Bumthang.
